6th class visit Carlow I.T. Art Exhibition

Last week on the 17th of May some of the sixth class girls went to an Art Exibition by second year Art students from Carlow I.T. Campus. The students have an art campus in the old Wexford county buildings. We met Seánie who took us on a tour around the art campus.
First we saw lots of marbles on the floor. Next we gazed at some 3D art and got some drinks.
After that we went to see four drawings of a woman. Next was a small blue room. Seánie explained that blue is normally a cold colour but in this instance it was quite a warm room.
After this we saw a big carpet which had been splashed with paint of many colours. Next we went to see a cardboard exhibit which was quite scary!
Another exhibit was a dried wall with lots of coloured paint. There was a really awesome exhibit which consisted of old computers screens spilling water into a tub.
Finally we saw the sand exhibition, it was brilliant. On the way back to school we got ice-creams!
Pictures of some of the exhibits to follow!
